As romantic matchmakers, Patti Stanger and Lara Asprey have lost count of how many couples they have successfully matched up over the years.

But these two very different TV dating gurus haven't always seen eye-to-eye. Lara Asprey, has been dubbed 'an elegant English rose', and Patti Stanger a 'tough-talking New Jersey gal'. Both have very different opinions on what romance looks like, who should lead in a relationship and how long it should take to get to a proposal, as their very public spats would reinforce.
